I am still pregnant with this blog. This will be a place for deeper discussion and questioning, for boiling things down to the essential. A place where you deconstruct a topic and come to a conclusion both basic and compelling, obvious in simplicity and undeniable in forcefulness.

I love masses of people, the sights and smells of travel, the many shapes that human eyes come in... the beauty, intricacy and unpredictability of creation... mud and getting stuck in it... my family, which is to me precious beyond words. I hate injustice. I hate apathy. I hate it when the highly gifted selfishly waste their talent and settle for mediocrity. I hate that force which tries to misprepresent God's intentions to people, the force that inspired apartheid and all forms of religious evil and hypocrisy. I long for those moments when someone catches their breath, and you can see in their eyes that the door of eternal life has swung open, and they now see inside. I long for those moments when the revelation of God's love radiates across the face of one who was lost, but now finds himself relaxed, embraced, and found.
